Beauty and The Beast
This week may have brought the coldest temperatures for March on record and untold disruption, but #snowmaggedon aka ‘The Beast From The East’ has also been a photographer’s dream.
I got up early on Wednesday to capture the breath-taking views at sunrise over the apple orchards, just outside Tonbridge in Kent.
Spring was in the air towards the end of half-term, but as the Siberian winds rolled in, the garden of England’s landscape took on an altogether more arctic feel. In Norway, we have a word for when the trees glisten with snow and ice – ‘Rim‘. I confess I never imagined I’d be taking photos of rime ice in Kent in March!
